Hello Everyone!!

Just a few more days until the break! YAY! :-) These last few weeks have been really busy and I know everyone is looking forward to a slow down. The meet on Friday was fantastic and was also a great way to close out the fall semester. We had several swimmers with some best times and great first time swims too! The t-shirt relay at the end was also a nail biter and we came in 2nd to Vandy by a fingernail! The girls team took 2nd and the boys team took 3rd - which was great as well! Everything we do now is in preparation for District and Region in late January and February and I am looking forward to it! 

Here's what we are looking at this week: 

• WEEKLY SCHEDULE (Practice is normal time all week.)
• Please fill out the HOLIDAY PRACTICE FORM if you have not already. I only have 12 families that have completed it and there are 31 swimmers on the team. :-) I need to hear from every swimmer/family to plan accordingly. 
• Swimmer Holiday Party is on Thursday, December 15th from 5:30-8:30 at the Nelson home: 1808 Buffalo Speedway. Make sure your swimmer brings a wrapped swim cap to participate in the gift exchange. We are also asking that swimmers bring a dessert to share. It can be something small so that there aren't too many left overs! :-) 
• No practice on Friday, December 16th because of the half day schedule. 
• This week is the end of the 3rd grading cycle! Failure this cycle will take a swimmer out of the District meet. Please check your swimmers grades this week and help them complete everything and end the semester strong! 
• January 7th swim meet location change! We will be at the RRISD Aquatic center so that we can preview the pool before the District meet.
