LHS Swimming - DISTRICT INFO
Hi Everyone!
It's here!! After 23 weeks of training, Championship season and the District meet is here! I am super excited for your swimmers and can't wait for tomorrow. :-)
HERE is a lot of important information for you all. There are several links in there so please make sure you look at those as well.
Other info for tonight:
1. Swimmers should shave tonight. Any "touch-ups" can be done in the morning.
2. Dinner tonight should be simple. A simple protein (chicken or salmon), carbs (sweet potatoes are good), and a veggie. Nothing spicy or out of the ordinary, please.
3. Make sure your swimmer is packed for the meet tonight before bed. (They have a packing list that you all can see in your document as well.) The less they have to worry about in the morning, the better.
Finally, I want to thank you all for your support of not just your swimmers, but the team as well. You all are an integral part of your swimmer's success and the success of the LHS Swim Team. You make sure they get to practice every day, you help them navigate the mental and physical challenges of this crazy sport, you volunteer your time to help the team, you fund your swimmers with goggles, caps, suits, shirts, equipment, and all the other random things a swimmer needs, you deal with wet towels and bags all over your house, you trust me to travel with your kids all over the state, and you also read all my long emails each week!! I can't thank you all enough for everything you do, and I am looking forward to the next few weeks with your swimmers at District, Region, and hopefully State!
