Hi All!

First of all, thank you SO much for the generous Coach's gift. WOW! I am beyond appreciative of all of you and seriously can't thank you all enough. Thank you to the Banquet Committee again for a wonderful night last week as well! I heard over and over again how beautiful and fun everything was! :-) 

We are still busy as we end the school year! This morning was a huge success, and your swimmers were super helpful with our cage cleanout. They built 3 new shelving units, washed, swept, and organized our equipment cage and it looks so much better. Pictures are on our Leander Swim Twitter. :-)  

We will swim Wednesday-Friday this week (for those who are not STAAR or AP testing) and have tryouts for the 2023-2024 school year on Saturday, May 6th at 7:30 am. 

I will have our final May calendar put together by the end of this week for you all as well!

Physicals tomorrow! Here's the info: 

Tuesday, May 2nd, 5:30 pm-8:00 pm

Location: Athletic Meeting Room (Team Room)

You need:
1. Proof of online payment - NO CASH on the spot.
2. Yellow 2023-2024 physical form (on the door outside the training room or you can print one at home from THIS website). SIGNED BY PARENTS.
3. The SWAY APP downloaded (instructions attached below).

Here's info from the trainers:

• The athlete's medical history should be filled out and SIGNED by their guardian PRIOR to receiving their physical.
• We will also be doing concussion screenings at physicals for high school athletes only. Please have your athletes download the Sway App (all of them need to do this anyway, even if they are not getting a physical here). Just DOWNLOAD the app. Codes will be given at school.
• The earlier athletes come the better. Clinicians will be here as early as 5 pm.
• We will stop accepting athletes at 7:30. We will NOT be taking cash or checks, everything is online. Here is the link to get a ticket early: https://www.leanderisd.org/athletics_ticketspasses/.

Don't forget to mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 10th, 6-8 pm for our last parent meeting. We will be sharing the plans for next year, getting people signed up for committees, and discussing the budget. We will meet at the Nelson's home:1808 Buffalo Speedway.
